Throughout the process of building my shuttle bus conversion I thought about the best way to give back to the community and share the knowledge I gained. Today I’m launching that project, Counterculture Homes.
In planning my build I had to scour the web looking for inspiration, build information, and general knowledge about conversions and tiny homes. It was spread across many sites and mediums, with some information very hard to find. The goal of Counterculture Homes to help others avoid this problem by being the best resources for all types of builds. This site will feature how-to guides, interviews with other vehicle dwellers, details about my build and travels, and other resources for anyone interested in a home on wheels.
This isn’t an overnight project. I’d love to work on it full time but can’t right now. It will take a while to collect this information and present it in a useful way. If there is something specific you seek let me know and I’ll prioritize it.
I’m also starting an accompanying podcast and YouTube channel. There aren’t many useful podcasts about living on wheels, with most of the best focused on RVs and not conversions. I’d like to provide how-to videos, reviews, and walk-throughs of builds.
